Don't think I wanted anyone more to win than Strickland against Izzy. Would be so lulzy but I'm afraid it's going to be the same result as vs Alex.

we all thought DDP was gonna get crushed by Whittaker.

but I guess the gap is wider if we are talking Adesanya vs Strickland. I literally don't see any path to victory for Strickland. He's not a wrestler. He doesn't possess alot of power. I guess he has great defense and can outlast opponents pretty good, but I don't think that's gonna help. With Adesanya you need to be aggressive and back him against the cage and/or threaten wrestling/grappling exchanges. Otherwise he just point fights you from a safe distance till a strike connects hard.

The main event is going to be at the press conference. Strickland needs to get under Adesanya's skin and trigger him into going for a finish instead of his usual boring ass decision wins. Otherwise Adesanya is just going to run around the octagon again with his obnoxiously long reach advantage and have retard judges suck him off with the usual 50-45.

Strickland should bring his laptop with him and play nonstop clips of Adesanya being a Chinese shill and getting ridiculed for being a boring fighter, that should do the trick.

Agreed with you. Strickland is a perpetuum mobile jabbing his way in and making it a boxing match which is the exact opposite of Izzy who uses his long reach and leg kicks from the outside. Strickland won't be able to close the distance at all here and gets frustrated, then question mark kicked to valhalla.
