Adesanya should be an easy win on paper, but would lol if Strickland somehow gets him to the ground, submits him or knocks him out

Tai vs Volkov is a tough one. If this was pre-Gane, I would have leaned towards him. But Volkov is a tall fighter with alot of reach and has knocked out his last two opponents. Tuivasa got rekt by two fighters known for their size and reach. He's gonna struggle. So I got Volkov by KO

The rest of the card doesn't boast big names, but there could be sleepers like Justin Tafa, Ulberg, etc.

i'm going tuivasa r1 ko. Volkov doesn't have the elusiveness of Gane nor the pressure/power of sergei. Not that he needs it to beat him but ppl underestimating tai IMO

tuivasa will land a brutal leg kick then rush in and do damage

I think it is going to be Adesanya by a very uneventful decision. The skill levels are too far apart to make it a fight.

Tuivasa vs Volkov, like pretty much all HW fights is a tossup that just comes down to who gets lucky first. Tuivasa's run was fun but I think his luck has run out and Volkov gets another first round KO.

Card looks more like a Fight Night than a PPV.

Adesanya better not run around the cage for 25 minutes and ruin the only thing that sells this event.

I haven't watched a lot of Strickland's fights so I didn't know he had a ground game. I had the impression that he was more of a stupid street fighter similar to the guy in the co-main event. His fight IQ is chitty too just by the way he stood in front of Alex Pereira, a Muay Tai world champion and got knocked out.

Izzy gonna chopped those legs from the outside

I think don't think Strickland is a dumb fighter. It's just kind of his style, a style that probably isn't suited to Pereira.

I think the odds are on par with Rockhold vs Bisping II, which is pretty much quite bad for Strickland. But I don't see a path for Strickland to win. He lacks KO power, he fights very defensive, tries to outlast you and isn't exactly the greatest grappler.
