Joshua $50m Ngannou $20m
Do you still think Ngannou was wrong for turning down the $8m ufc deal?
He's made $30m in two boxing matches.

Nobody thinks Ngannou was wrong and fumbled the bag, not even Dana. They might have before but Ngannou seems like a smart lad and believed in himself. Now he's laughing all the way to the bank.
Dana's been fumbling the bag a lot but he also built a 11 billion dollar company so he can throw these tantrums no problem. Let Mighty Mouse go, let Ngannou go, now toying around with JBJ and his fight with a retired fireman instead of Aspinall.

He obviously hasn't fumbled the bag but neither has the UFC. Ngannou will never fight another MMA fight after boxing there's no point. It was a good call for the UFC to move on from him, now the PFL is stuck with a dude who will never fight for them.
That being said, if Ngannou doesn't have a good showing vs Joshua, his star power plummets instantly.

Can't say he was wrong after the fact, he bet on himself and it managed to pay off big time. But I think at the time we all said Ngannou was taking a big risk not taking the UFC deal. The UFC offered him more than they did any other fighter in history pretty much.
Getting the Fury fight was big in itself, that alone made the whole thing worth it. But he had a good showing, enough to warrant a Joshua fight that can sell. Even if he does bad in the Joshua fight and never boxes again it doesn't matter. He always has the PFL as a back up. And if he doesn't want to fight there, he's already multiplied the money that he could have ever made fighting in the UFC.
It was risky of Ngannou, but he was patient and stubborn and it all paid off. Happy for him.

I'd like to see Francis slim down slightly for this AJ fight, he doesn't need all that 271lbs of muscle and would be a lot quicker and more agile 10lbs down from that. Put the dumbells down and focus on speed Francis.

The Saudis dont care if they lose money on the event, that is why the fighters are paid so high. How can the US compete if the Saudis are willing to lose money?

Disappointed that we'll never see him fight Jon jones but the dude has hit the jackpot and will be able to fulfill his real dream of building schools, hospital in his homeland.
Legit happy for him.
