The fight went was relatively straight forward.

Usman looked like the #1 guy, Colby like the #2. The 2 greatest in the division going at it.

Usman is just too phucking big and good. I honestly see Adesanya standing 0 chance against Usman if he decides to move up. Hes already shredded at 170. His striking along with his wrestling can end Adesanya quick.

That’s not true, anyone who expresses support of Trump is attacked. The soy boy journalists were hoping for both Ortiz and Alberto to knock each other out at the same time, for instance.

Colby wants the hate. He literally comes out to Kurt Angle’s theme song because he wants people to chant you suck at him. He does more than political stuff he insults the fans, cities, and whatever else will make people upset too.

It’s his marketing strategy to be the bad guy. And it works because he was the number one trend on Twitter several hours after the fight while nobody is talking about the boring guy that won.

And there’s a word for the people upset about his gimmick, mark. They’re like the people who think pro wrestling is real. It’s still real to me, damnit!

in a non title fight i can see that being a good stoppage but in a title fight you need to let it go until hes fully out.

can someone tell me which rounds were scored in usmans favor? i'll watch it again but i felt colby was the better fighter that was getting the better of the exchanges in most of the rounds except for the last.

MMA judges are potatoes.

Hey Carbonfire, nobody knew the judges score cards and I don’t think many would have expected it to be 3-1 for Usman. All 3 could have easily had it 3-1 for Covington. Furthermore, Covington fought about half the fight with a broken jaw, so wasn’t looking for a way out. He should have been given the opportunity to go out on his shield.
