Price capable of wild finishes but Means has steady striking and wrestling.

Millender the rightful favorite but Zaleski is surging and dangerous. We will see what Millender is made of tonight. Might go with Millender though.

When Lewis strikes I don't think JDS will be there to receive. I don't think Lewis has the wrestling to get the fight to the ground. This is the fight i'm most sure about.

I did have Omari, Dariush, and Martin though, doing pretty good RN. I think parlaying the remaining 4 at once is a bad call, lots of toss-up fights.
Yeah, agree with you. I let myself get manipulated by odds too many times so this one I just went with research and fighting styles when making calls. I only threw in $5 @ 1:315 odds so not losing much. If i cash out now its $30.

I hear you. I often chase that carrot and i've been down on the last few cards. Mma is getting tougher to bet on now that skillsets are becoming more well-rounded.

Prop bets on method of victory used to be easy. I had Dariush by sub but you may as well offset it with Dober by KO, crazy sport.

Since the Fertitas sold the company, the cards have become thinner and much more top heavy.

But this is actually quite a good Fight Night card with a lot of notable fighters, so this doesn't even belong in that conversation imo.

There are some fun fights and the two HW bouts on the main card will shape the next contendership bouts. There have been PPVs worse than this one.

Ivanov is a well known killer in other organizations before coming to the UFC.

Plus the HW division is a little thin on talent.

Lol, he's had one fight in the UFC and he lost to JDS. Hardly something to hang your head at.

Rothwell seems to be winning the striking through 1 round though. Rothwell has fought better fighters.

I don't know if anybody remembers this anymore, but he was the guy who beat Fedor for the gold in the world Sambo championships when Fedor was still on his unbeaten streak in MMA. That's when the MMA community first took notice of him that I remember.

I'm surprised that the striking numbers are fairly comparable. Ivanov has had some big counters but for the most part it looks like Rothwell is landing first a lot. Ivanov has had mixed results firing back.

Yeah they mentioned it during the walk outs. He's an OG sambo competitor for sure.

Kind of like Akhmedov earlier on the card though, sambo world champ definitely means you will be successful in mma, but not necessarily champ material.

Seriously, this fight is no better than your slightly above average bar fight
"I would fight anyone of the UFC LW's, but the problem is that I will never put my foot in the octagon after they (UFC) tried to be funny, I would rather have bleeding hemorrhoids than fight for the UFC. I would rather have one true Japanese MMA supporter than one million fake mainstream supporters that will turn their back on you as soon as you lose a fight. - Joachim Hansen

This is more about how good Rothwell is. He was on an absolute tear before he lost to JDS.

Wow, really surprised they scored it to Ivanov.

It used to be the judges overweighted Octagon control / advancing. Now they don't seem to take it into account at all.
