Henry didnt cut him off enough and allowed him to circle out too much.
Also wasnt nearly aggressive enough with wrestling
went for upper body locks too much on a much taller , lankier guy.. no leverage from that position

still could have probably won a decision but waited too late

pretty lame division / champion.. worst of all time prolly

Has there ever been a more unlikeable fighter than Belal? Possibly Woodley in his prime?

The guy ticks zero boxes. Try-hard cringe personality, no charisma whatsoever, complains about everything, painfully unaesthetic to look at from head to toe, fighting style is equally unaesthetic and bland, has no power. He's just competent in all areas. At least he'll never touch the title.

Pillow fist Henry lost on damage. He may have looked the best in 3 of 5 rounds but if there's no visible damage to show for it, he loses.
Aljo doesn't have a mark on him, could manhandle O'weedy next weekend if he wanted.

I noticed the commentators d-riding him pretty hard. Honestly he's a good fighter, he just doesn't stand out anywhere. There are much better strikers in the division, better wrestlers, grapplers, etc. He's decent at putting it all together. He stands no chance against Leon or Khamzat. Colby could actually be interesting as they might neutralize each other. Colby doesn't have alot of power, not the greatest striker. Colby is pretty much better in all areas but you just never know what might happen. It's gonna be a decision-fest either way.

IMO Henry needed a tune-up fight. He looked much faster, sharper, athletic before he retired. But Aljo is a long and aggressive fighter and different from most guys Cejudo has fought. He fought somebody with very good grappling who was bigger than him. IMO Aljo won 3 rounds to 2, he simply landed more damaging strikes.

I think he smothers O'Malley. If he moves up to 145 though I don't think he beats the top guys there.

Aljo is in a weird spot where he is a bit big for 135 (not super big) but at 145 he would be small. But he can probably keep making 135. His main weapon would be his grappling, but he will be at a size disadvantage. And his striking isn't nearly on the level of Volk, Holloway and many other guys.

O Malley doesn't have a chance but I said that against Petr Yan and lol at what happened. But if Aljo can takedown even Cejudo then it's over for him. We might be seeing the best/prime version of Aljo.

I had Aljo the same, although I expected & wanted Henry to win. It'll be interesting to see him against Merab, its a fight he could very easily lose but if he wins it then hes right back in there with Aljo after he beats Sean, I do believe Henry beats him 2nd time out.
