Aljo was on the ground bleeding from the eye (orbital fracture?) and getting hammered. Good stoppage IMO.

Bullchit stoppage by Goddard. Aljo was blocking most of those shots from the bottom and was rolling out of it.

Respect to Omalley though. He looked good in there and what a hell of a right hand. Love seeing people achieve their dream.

are you just repeating what rogan said about the yan rematch? it was a split decision, he had back takes but did no damage (kinda like islam vs volk minus the punches volk threw when islam took his back), and got fuked up in rounds 4 and 5

he didnt even come close to dominating the fight

I didnt even hear what rogan said. I watched the fight with my own two eyes.

Imagine putting any weight on what the judges scored it. The judges lost credibility long long ago. Split decision my ass.

Watch the fight again with no volume. Aljo beat yan handedly. I was full blown team Yan for that fight as well. Wanted Aljo to lose after the oscar performance so no biased opinion here.

i re watched the fight like 3 nights ago. i had it 48-47 for sterling due to dominant positions in rounds 1 to 3, but it wasnt an impressive, let alone dominant win given how rounds 4 and 5 went. yan did more damage in those two rounds than sterling did in rounds 1 to 3 combined

EDIT: sterling even admitted in the octagon interview that yan beat the fuk out of him in the 4th and 5th rounds

Respect to Sterling for that post fight interview though.
NO excuses, no protest of early stoppage and gave props where it's due.

Can't wait to see Sandhagen, Merab,Yan and even CCC maybe fight for the belt again.

He said something about the levels of beating people. For instance, you take it kinda easy when you beat/discipline kids. You go a little harder beating up your buddies. And you go extra hard against your enemies (Garry).
