I had no issue with that decision. Moraes won rd 1 and 3 from my scoring. But gotta say Aldo looked great and I was impressed to see him fight like hes got the fire back.

fight control/pressure has been inconsistently factored in by judges for over a decade. Its very rare they actually seem to give any points for it.

Does landing 20+ more sig strikes and completely controlling the octogan the entire fight not mean anything anymore? Does a take down with zero strikes and a good head kick that didn't even rock someone win fights now?

Only reason morales was landing was because he was scared of Also and when they did clash Aldo kept getting the better of him overall in the third. Running away doing weak light jabs and then getting outfought when standing ground isn’t winning the round. Then running again.

Equal strikes but aldos were more significant and had the forward pressure and significant counterstrikes.

Aldo doesn’t deserve loss, tie at worst. Pressured the entire fight and landed more strikes, what more can you ask for without demanding a KO.
