Fury won, no doubt. Francis fought hard but came up short.

Ok, MISC input on who YOU think won Fury VS Ngannou

Since there's quite a bit of controversy over this big fight, I'm setting up a poll. I know none of us are pro judges, but from what we saw it's debatable.
Do you think Fury won, no question?
Do you think it was a draw? It was a great fight.
Or do you think the decision was off and Francis clearly out-handed Tyson?

Why the fuk is a draw an option when that's mathematically impossible? It was close but Fury probably did enough to win 6 rounds, so 95-94 Fury is the right score.

Fury won

Boxing matches are scored round by round, you have to look at it as 10 individual 1 round fights.

I can see why casuals would score it to Ngannou but in close fights where there's almost a major upset people always get carried away.

Fury won by a round or two, Ngannou did amazing but over the last 4 rounds Fury was able to veteran his way to a decision win.

Fury was in the worst form I've ever seen him BTW, absoloutley dreadful performance from him.

everyone knows its round by round... aggression and damaging strikes are part of the scoring criteria

I saw a highlight video only. it looked like a poor attempt at an exhibition match during the first couple rounds.
The remainder though, it was definitely the worst performance I've ever seen from Fury.

Francis won the fight IMO. The knockdown, landed a higher percentage of sig strikes, landed the more impactful strikes of the fight. Round by round point scoring aside, Francis got the better of Fury and I don't think that can really be debated. However with that said I don't really have an issue with any of the scoring from the judges. When you attempt to score that fight in real time round by round, it was a razor close fight.

It means he had a fight with an even number of rounds that either did not have any 10-8 rounds or that had an even number of 10-8 rounds. With one 10-8 round and nine 10-9 rounds it's impossible to have a draw. So you can stop wondering now, ph4ggot.

The only way it could've been a draw was if the ref had deducted a point from Fury for cheating, which I guess he actually should have done.

I think Fury won but he was awful and Ngannou looked 100x better than expected. Fury by 1 or 2 rounds is probably right.

Fury's stock has nosedived tho and Ngannou's is now in outer space.

I saw Hearn talking about a potential AJ/Ngannou fight in Africa. That would be pretty epic.

Ngannou won the fight. It was not Olympic boxing scoring where Fury gets points for touching Ngannou. Ngannou was more effective. Fury touched him with his very fast jab but if we are judging fairly that does not win rounds in boxing when Ngannou consistently countered and controlled the rounds clearly imposing his style. There was never a moment in the fight despite the repeated grappling, choke attempts or even well landed elbow strike from Fury that changed Ngannou's behavior. Fury's very odd lunging attempts to initiate grappling despite being extremely unnatural in the situation should have given Ngannou those rounds as that made it blatantly obvious who was more effective and controlling the rounds.

Fury won.
He tagged Francis more and was busier the whole fight.
Yeah you can't see damages on Nganou's face and he's got a hell of a chin.
Nice knockdown by Nganou but beside that and maybe a couple of good 1/2 combo, that was it.
