You can't just casually wipe through or you're going to miss some shit, but at the same time if you press too hard your finger will tear through the paper and you could accidentally scrape your asshole rim with your fingernail. The trick is to have enough paper to press firmly without pressing too hard and always wipe until you have almost completely clean sheet of paper. Remember to the shit isn't just around your asshole sometimes it can get up into your cheeks so you need to wipe long as well as firm. If after you take a shit a few hours later your asshole is itchy this is a sign that you left some shit behind. Immediately go to the bathroom and get some wet toilet paper and clean up the mess you left.
