4)97% of climate change researchers believe that it is influenced by human behaviour.
"Authors of seven climate consensus studies — including Naomi Oreskes, Peter Doran, William Anderegg, Bart Verheggen, Ed Maibach, J. Stuart Carlton, and John Cook — co-authored a paper that should settle this question once and for all. The two key conclusions from the paper are:
1) Depending on exactly how you measure the expert consensus, it’s somewhere between 90% and 100% that agree humans are responsible for climate change, with most of our studies finding 97% consensus among publishing climate scientists.
2) The greater the climate expertise among those surveyed, the higher the consensus on human-caused global warming."

If people wanted to disagree with the above, even the pro-capitalist magazine Forbes wrote that they agreed that 97% of climate change scientists believe it's man made. They just don't believe that it's severe, and warrants regulation....

Alternatives to Capitalism...
I've been looking into a Resourced Based Economy, and Socialism.
(Something I realized is how much successful propaganda there has been against the socialism. Most people are unaware that socialism is a term that refers to a variety of political theories.)
Clearing up a few common misconceptions or ignorance, that I learned and encountered...
1) Communism, is only one form of socialism. Socialist political theory existed before Marx, and new socialist political theories have been created after Marx.
2) Raising taxes to fund government social programs is called welfare, not socialism.
3) Marxist-Leninism, Stalinism, Maoism, etc, are examples of; centrally planned socialism. Many socialists at the time publicly criticized Lenin and Stalin (eg. George Orwell and Emma Goldman), because they advocated decentralized socialism, based on direct-democracy.
4) Examples of socialists states/societies that existed and weren't totalitarian are; Thomas Sankara's Burkina Faso government, Democratic Confederalism in Rojava, Kerala Socialist part which has been in and out of power for 50 years.
5) Examples of socialism/communist principles working include; Open source, and worker cooperatives.
6) Personal property = the things you own to survive, or thrive. Private property = the private sector. Socialism supports personal property, but is against the private sector, and wants them replaced with open collaboration, worker's cooperatives and/or public enterprises.
7) There are centralized, and decentralized forms of Socialism.
8) There are planned socialism, and market forms of Socialism.

Here's something for you to think about op
I can find problems with any system and any alternatives to capitalism that you could possibly suggest
Every economy has problems so it comes down to which ones are you willing to live with
Arguements about capitalism vs socialism vs communism etc simply go around in circles for this reason

OP we all know that Capitalism isn't perfect, nothing is.
However, Socialism and Communism are absolute failures and have been everywhere they've been implemented.
Furthermore, a Socialist is just a Communist who hasn't picked up a gun yet. You can argue the idiosyncrasies and nuances all you like. At the end of the day my statement is correct. History has proven it for anyone willing to see it.
Go to Cuba or North Korea or Venuzuala or a host of other fine countries and live under Socialism AKA:"Polite Communism", and let us know how it works out for you OP.
