Ketogenic diet for face gains (srs)
Been on a keto diet for 6 days now and my face has defined a good bit over the last few days. You basically lose all water weight on a keto diet because of no glycogen from carbs, so you’ll look dryer physique wise too (although a bit flat).
Lost like 4-5 lbs of water weight total. Also feel much more energetic and healthier now, since keto basically forces you to eat Whole Foods. If you’re cutting or maintaining, a keto diet is pretty easy to do. It’s a bit harder for a bulk but it’s still possible

I don't think the benefits outway the positives.
The face gains your describing are probably placebo effects, I never done keto but was in ketogenesis during PSMF and I hate not being able to eat carbs.

The closer we approach the uncertainty of life's ending the more we wish to trade all of the things we have acquired in exchange for all of the things we have lost: wealth for youth, knowledge for fresh curiosity, resignation for hope. We'd trade our wisdom for new experiences, but it is wisdom that will teach us that at the end of the road the only new experience is death.

Cyclical ketosis keeps your body from ever fully adapting into ketosis and you’ll miss out on reaping all of the full benefits of ketosis that takes a while to begin. Not to mention unnecessarily getting the keto flu again

i feel drained and depleted if i do keto for longer than a week or so, its weird, but IF definitely helps a **** ton... I think just keeping carbs low and avoiding processed sugar is hugely beneficial and keto is going to do that.
A million miles away - I don't.. feel.... anything.

IF is nice but nothing will give that chiseled look like a keto diet will. Just depends on what your goals are I guess

Today is Day 1 on Keto again for me after basically taking the last 6 weeks off and eating a lot of garbage. Looking to drop about 20 pounds between now and the end of January, which I think should be difficult but dooable.
In general, I love the Keto diet and it's by far the most effective way I've found to drop larger sums of weight and keep it off. In the past I had been doing a lot of yo-yo dieting, and it forced me to make a full permanent change in diet. I obviously won't remain full Keto forever, but even a lazy Keto combined with going to the gym regularly is enough to keep me from gaining weight.

Good to see another brah that has experienced the positive benefits of keto. A lot of people get the keto flu and then quit after 2 days and think keto just isn’t for them because they feel like crap, when all they had to do was hold out a bit longer. It’s unfortunate

In the past, I was usually a guy who had a lot of unpleasant smelly gas and generally a bad relationship with pooping. Once I'm fully Keto adapted, I will have one solid poop per day and will go weeks in a row without farting.
