Tips/lifehacks your SO didn't know about?
Title, or vice versa.
What were some household tips or tricks that your SO didn't know about that they taught you when you lived together, or vice versa?
Some my wife didn't know:
> my wife had no idea that if you close the shower curtain after showering, it will dry and never get moldy. She just thought that was life and bought a new shower curtain every 6-12 months
> flip your pillowcase inside out, put your hands in it at the corners and hold onto the pillow, and reverse the pillowcase onto the pillow. >>> stuffing your pillow In a pillow case
> putting a wooden spoon over boiling water helps prevent boiling over.
> If you rinse your dishes before you put them in the dishwasher, they always come out 100% clean and you never have to clean the dishwasher (lol @ not knowing that)
One I didn't know:
>brb never thought to stack the same Tupperware inside each other. Always put a lid on every single one of them till I saw my wife do it like this:

stuff I learned from her:
you can cook rice in the microwave
stuff she learned from me:
the right way the toiler paper goes on the roll

ohh, and if your dirty dishes don't come out clean your dishwasher is under performing and/or you might have low water pressure. Most actually use the food particles to clean the rest of the dishes and get drained out in the final rinse cycle.

If you use a whole thing of buffalo sauce or barbecue, the remains that are on the sides of you put a tiny bit of water in the bottle, shake and dump it all of it will come out.
I taught her if you’re cooking scrambled eggs put some milk into it before it turns into a solid and it makes it really fluffy and better tasting.

I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky. I never told anybody to lie, not a single time; never. These allegations are false. And I need to go back to work for the American people. Thank you.

I've been with my SO since we were basically teenagers (she actually was still a teenager), so we learned a ton of stuff together.

Also, if you put the silverware in the dishwasher pointy side DOWN, you don't have to put your hands all over the part people put in their mouths to get them back out, and the odds of you accidentally stabbing yourself are greatly reduced.

My wife still hasn’t figured out that if you fold and put away your laundry when it’s done you won’t have a huge pile of clothes on top of the dryer
And relief washes over me in an awesome wave

you can make instant noodles in the microwave. get a large bowl, put seasoning on the bottom, then the square noodles. fill cold water until the noodles float. microwave for 6min.
before i found this out, i was boiling water and cooking inside a large saucepan. saves me probably 10min each time. less chit to wash, no waiting for boiling water on the stove.

Rinsing dishes prior to putting them in dishwasher. What a waste of fuking time unless you own a poverty dishwasher from 1982. I understand not putting a bunch or rice/pasta or whatever inside, but if it's just a tad messy looking f*** it.
