Why a girl asked me to study with her and asked me for a ride but is not interested?

This girl asked me if I wanted to study. I believe it was with a group, but I told her that I could not come, so we just studied together (one on one)

I noticed that when I strayed off topic, she got somewhat agitated, and only wanted to talk about the subject at hand.


We studied a little and then she offered me a ride. I told her ok, but then she canceled the ride because she said that she would have to walk all the way to her apartment to get to her car.


Why would someone offer to study with me and offer me a ride, then cancel the ride and get mad when I stray off topic? Why bother asking me to study and offer me a ride in the first place?

Is this common? Thoughts?

Do you just study with random women you aren't interested in?

People have motives for their actions.

Perhaps she finds me attractive and wanted to study and ask me for a ride for validation in order to boost her self esteem but wasn't interested in having a relationship.
