Lifting can change bone structure?

Everyone's first impulse is to say this is bro science but there are many guys who say their faces masculinized after they started lifting. Also studies show that high-test in rats increases bone mass. Just look at the jaws of female bodybuilders.

wat? you smoking crack homie? Your face starts to look larger because increase in size of your neck muscles and decrease of body fat on your face. Lifting doesn't magically unlock your superman chin genetics.

Ffs I'm talking about subtle changes, not from chinless nerd to superman. Low body fat alone would not have a masculinizing effect, in fact in many cases it do the opposite. Are you telling me there's no difference in this guy's skull before/after?

Hell yeah look at that masculine low body-fat face

Yeah a haircut and years in between. Also this guy put on a solid 30ishlbs of muscle after already being fit dont expect results like his unless you like to go for bike rides.

Same thing with Calum and Zyzz both are 14 or so in the first picture and in their 20's wat mate.

Let's ignore the muscles. His body fat definitely didn't go down. You see no difference?

Lifting weights can increase your bone density. Weight lifting = testosterone increase = increased bone density.

But it's not going to change the length.

People just grow at different rates. I was done growing tall at 16 years old but I didn't finish filling out my frame until my mid 20's and that was with very minimal and inefficient training. Over that time period I went from looking like a pretty boy to an Eastern Euro mod enforcer in the face

Theres only one thing that changes bone structure

Its a hormone for growing

So, i guess its possible that lifting would produce more of this growing hormone

Just a coincidence that all these bodybuilders show the signs of excessive facial bone development?

Hell yeah look at that masculine low body-fat face

no difference on skull.

Neck got thicker and hair got shorter, hence the illusion.

IMO Bone structure can be improved if you start lifting before your growth plates close.

If you start lifting after that, it will not impact that much.

Of course you can make your clavicles look wider if you put a lot of muscle on your delts, for example.
Or you can make your hips look bigger if you put on a lot of abdominal muscle.

Resistance training/weight lifting can help with the bone remodeling and cause apposition (width) bone growth, but not interstital (length). It's all to do with changing in the bone matrix/density.
