1 hour of lifting burns more calories than 3 hours of cardio

Cycling for 3 hours a day will burn you 300 calories at most as your body becomes efficient.

Lifting for an hour burns up to 800 when you take the after burn into effect

Lifting heavy burns a tremendous amount calories, and the more muscle you have on your body the higher your metabolism. It's a win win situation.

The only problem is that most people who lift for an "hour" realistically only put in about 15 minutes of actual work, the remaining 45 minutes is spent lolly-gagging between sets.

The trick is to stay in constant motion.

Example: as soon as your done with a 10 rep set on your bench, hit the floor and hold a plank for about 30 ~ 45 seconds and then go back for another set on the bench.
Everything I post is satire.
