So many bedwetters on twitter say the same thing (not saying you are one of them) but what they are saying is not true. Lockdown is not over not even close.

You cant meet up in groups of 6 or more outside, inside you are banned from mixing from other households (so essentially we have a ban on sex, unless you bang in someone garden or a bush lol).

Also the threat of restrictions ending completely on June 21st is not guaranteed at all, with Boris floating with Vaccine passports for entry everywhere and emergency powers extended for another 6 months.

Also i dont normally go bUt the MainstREAm mEDia, but literally none of the big 3 newschannels are covering it at all. There are thousands (maybe 10s of thousands) there but the BBC doesn't mention it on any section of their website.

Great point actually. When I say Lockdown I think of the full restrictions that we've just come out of, but I agree with you that it's better to consider every stage a lockdown.

You arent from the UK, so i doubt your informed on whats going on. I cant speak for everyone else at that march or whatever but most are pissed off as the government is floating about adding caveats to further restrict us/extend emergency powers/curtailing the right to protest/vaccine passports etc. when we are at over 50% of our population vaccinated now. Look, not everyone is a retard and think 5g towers cause autism and aids most people have genuine reasons to question the current government policy.

The vaccines were supposed to be the route out of it, but they keep moving the goalposts. We have had literally 20 people dying max a day from covid here for about a month now and barely 3000 infections. There is no reason we cant go back to the old normal right now. LEGALLY SPEAKING you havent been allowed to meet anyone in their house for 5 months here now. 5 Months. its been even longer in some places.

India and Brazil are different countries, and India is literally a 3rd world country its shocking they haven't had a massive outbreak yet frankly. They havent got a modern healthcare system.

The government overreach as a reaction to it and the violations of human rights and the abuses going on right now are also real.

Both things can be true. It isn't always as black and white as you guys want to think it is.

If he was going to follow up with questions to my short reply, that's something I was going to bring up.

I don't think it's a good idea to apply the same policies everywhere. The probability of severe symptoms from COVID depends on age, underlying illnesses, and obesity along with quality of healthcare. Brazil and India have terrible hygiene, healthcare, air pollution, and poverty rates. Many people are likely walking around with untreated underlying illness. Not every nation's conditions are the same.

The UK's situations like you point out doesn't seem to warrant the restrictions, and Vaccine passports (which will be used domestically, not just for international travel) are a massive violation of privacy and liberty.

I'm not near London but would be nice to be honest. I don't really see how anyone can be gulited for enjoying themselves outdoors at this point. We had dozens of protests last year and they had zero effect on infections at all.
