Single @ 36 makes me realize...

Just how many women actually are unhappy being married.

Like... I have tattoos and can freely travel with my job, and I tend to notice that women somehow like that, but are all married and while they APPEAR to be happy on social media, I question if they really are.

So... is marriage then just a coping mechanism?

Sure you churn out a few kids but does that mean you're actually happy? Is there any excitement left in the bedroom?

Makes me wonder why women cheat... or men do for that matter.

You'll find both happy and miserable people regardless of if they are single or married.

While I'm 6 years behind you I think that being single is great, being able to do whatever you want whenever you want to do it is one of the best things in life!

I also think 99% of people who appear to be happy on social media are miserable in real life, look at all the young girls who fake a big happy smile when the camera comes out then immediately go back to an unhappy look on their face..

Social media is a happy mask. It's fake. It's only someone's best moments. Or pretending moments.

I know so many sloots who have a social life, tons of female friends, some who are legit gorgeous. You look at their instagram, you think they are living the greatest of lives.
You talk to them, and you find out they're depressed or even suicidal. What does this say? It says that social media is bs.
Don't draw conclusions from it.

80% divorces are presented by the woman in the relationship

And 50% divorce rate of married couples

Obvs half of all married women are unhappy and probably more

sounds like a lot of cope from a 36 year old tattoocel trying to justify to himself why being single and nothing to show for at an older age is better than marriedcels

if you were happy you wouldn’t be focused on other people

I’m married and can freely travel. Like it was said earlier you’ll find the full spectrum of happiness whether single or married. I do the exact **** I did before I got married. No kids to hold me back though.

Bruh, based on the Lana Rhoades thread a woman would have to be walking around with noose in her hand for you to conclude that she might be unhappy. So I'm very skeptical that these women appear (to the rest of the population) as happy as you think they do.

pretty much this - marriage is more of a security blanket / insurance policy for women.

Women have always pursued a dual mating strategy. Alpha phucks / beta bucks, it's honestly not rocket science, it's just most men were too stupid to understand this....or didn't WANT to understand it.

This. Will say married life is an investment. Not always easy and for sure sometimes it would be nicer to just takeoff and do your own thing. BUT, in 25 more years when it is literally impossible for you to be relevant in any sort of acceptable social circle as a 60 yr old inkcel, and when you are alone, ugly and gross, you will absolutely wish you had lived your life in a different way so that at least there are ppl who love you and want to be around you despite being ugly, old and gross. I guess you can start getting into cats.
