Knee injuries for the suck!
Hit a squat PR 3 Fridays ago now. Took my son to a trampoline park on Saturday. Woke up the next morning wobbling like a baby deer and could barely walk. I still don't have full mobility back yet. I can walk fairly normal now, but still don't have my full ROM.

Taxing your legs = knee pain, it is what it is, the only thing to do is reduce the load whether that be weight/frequency/whatever.
That said, I'd still say go with the knee sleeves. Every little bit helps. I do knee sleeves, oly shoes, lots of fish oil.

learn more about knee flexion and lifting properly with your quads and build actual quad strength. Barbell squats are a very sub optimal lift to directly load the quads unless you do a narrow stance upright back full knee flexion squat.
