Knee injuries for the suck!

Hit a squat PR 3 Fridays ago now. Took my son to a trampoline park on Saturday. Woke up the next morning wobbling like a baby deer and could barely walk. I still don't have full mobility back yet. I can walk fairly normal now, but still don't have my full ROM.

My knees feel a little grim when training legs sometimes.

Considering trying knee sleeves but not sure how much of a game changer they are

Just finished my rehab on a second knee reconstruction.

Complete rupture of my ACL + meniscus damage.

Feel your pain with knees.

Taxing your legs = knee pain, it is what it is, the only thing to do is reduce the load whether that be weight/frequency/whatever.

That said, I'd still say go with the knee sleeves. Every little bit helps. I do knee sleeves, oly shoes, lots of fish oil.
Interesting, been contemplating fish oil also. Not expecting any of these things to have a dramatic effect but the combined effect could be worth it

learn more about knee flexion and lifting properly with your quads and build actual quad strength. Barbell squats are a very sub optimal lift to directly load the quads unless you do a narrow stance upright back full knee flexion squat.

I do as well. I would usually feel some inflammation and a little pain after a heavy squat or DL session. Nothing though that made me think perhaps I was putting too much load tolerance on my tendons and muscles though. Never thought the injury would have occurred from a jump on a trampoline TBH lol

learning everyday still. Focusing more on the knee imbalances and mobility limitations w/ not only the knee. Utilizing the book rebuilding Milo has helped me start with this. I thought by doing accessory work surrounding my compound lifts, deloading and a wheel rounded routine was enough.
