I don't understand why everyone is going crazy over a bridge. It's just a ****ing bridge.

Also, none of this behavior is new to the bigger cities in California The car/drag/racing scene has been huge since the early 90's when everyone would drive around in low riders. If you lived in San Diego {Mira Mesa) in the early 2000's There was a HUGE ricer scene that was sparked due to the Fast and Furious movies that came out. but the police really cracked down on it.

bridges = more cars = less foot traffic = typical usa car culture. Also, bridges allow more homeless camps to be set up underneath. Typical terrible city planning and design

Felt like I was watching a video of people in a third world country losing their chit after seeing and crossing a bridge for the first time. Everything seems to be indicating that's exactly where this once great country is headed. Time to move to the new empires of the globe boyos... Russia, China, India.

Could they have envisioned the city without this bridge from 2016 onwards (I mean, as long as it got demolished, right?)? Perhaps. But that wasn't the option taken.

I bet the designer of the bridge is just shaking his head watching that.
