Picked up an old man at the driving range (deer diary)
-Hitting balls at the driving range Friday, cause I fukking live there.
-A 50yo bald white guy rolls up to the stall next to me. "Is anyone hitting here?"
-I'm like nah
-Saw that his bag had a logo of a company from my old home town.
-Was like "you from there?"
-He said "no, just work there. I sell turfgrass and turfgrass accessories."
-He gets talking for like 10 mins about golf course turf, how more courses are starting to paint their chit green, how Vegas is out of water, etc.
-I smile and nod.
-"Hey you seem cool, do you want to go play a round sometime?"
-"Sure"
-"Gimme dem digits"
-We text today, set up logistics
-Our date is booked for Torrey Pines in 3 weeks.
Fukking executed a smooth af rando pickup, but it's to go golfing with an old white guy. JFL at my woman-free existence.

The reality here is: OP found a man he loves and wanted to golf with. Did it in an unconventional venue, and was a success. Good for him! Don't be such a negative ******* for the sake of beig a dick...
