but what makes it so clear cut the level was so much worse when Pele was playing?

don't forget Pele himself also didn't have the means available every player has today so it levels out imo

what is essentialy so different in your opinion compared to 50 years ago?

also, he won the WC the last time in 1970, it's not like he was playing in the beginning of the century or something when the game just started expanding and nobody knew what the fuk they were doing
