One of my best friends passed away (srs)

He was reported missing on Dec 18th while on his way back home from providing for his family. Earlier 12/26 in the evening his body was discovered on a highway (suspected hit & run).

I've known this guy since 2006. He even loved when my mom cooked and always came over to play games and watch TV. One of the most genuine, never switched up, always believed in me and pushed me to keep going. Not a month went by since we haven't spoken to each other. He left the city half a decade ago for a better life down south. Despite being states away, we were just talking about gaming together again like old times.

It pains me knowing I won't get to see him again, nor will his unborn baby boy and child's mother, and vice versa.

It didn't hit me so much until I realized it was actually real when he was confirmed deceased.

Sitting here alone in silence. My gf has never seen me cry & I don't know what I'll do when she asks me about the change in my behavior.

This is my darkest Christmas.

That's unfortunate. But your friend should've been much more careful and considerate. How does your body even end up on the highway?

But you two seemed to have an awesome relationship. You should relish in that fact because many times people decease on bad terms and that can really break one down.
