Ukrainian war could have ended over one year ago.
Apparently Putin oddly offered not to kill Zelensky which gave the latter the courage to keep sacrificing his country's troops. If for whatever odd reason he didn't want to kill Zelensky then at least oust him from his position so he can't escalate the conflict. This was back in February 2022 which means it would have ended the following March.
But instead a billion people in the rest of the world have to go through a recession, inflation, etc for I don't know what reason.

We left Afghanistan a few months before the Ukraine conflict kicked off, and the military-industrial complex got to get paid ALWAYS.

you want to live with the comforts and freedoms you have? well, people elsewhere have to die for it. and i guess some of our own, too but they are soldiers and know what they signed up for.
thankfully with ukicels, it's not our boys who are dying, but theirs so it's a win win

And you guys don't understand. This isn't some imperial quest. Putin sees this as the sacred duty of Russia to defeat nazism and halt NATO's influence.

They don't understand and have come to hate the fact that the countries who departed from the USSR were and are looking ways to progress not regress.

the nazism angle is just talking point for him. i do agree with nato influence but this ultimately goes to how neutured russia becomes if it loses the black sea. which is why it doesn't give as much of a fuk about finalnd/sweden joining nato because the baltic isn't as crucial

the war machine keeps us as a global super power and keeps the economy going
imagine the shiit hole we would be in if it wasn't for government spending to feed ukicels weapons for them to go fight for us

One of the few copes in my life is waking up everyday and opening news websites to see if Putin has finally dropped a nuke on Kiev.
Hopefully 2023 will be the year.

I wonder how the Ukrainian military, people and the people/government of other nations would feel if this rumour of immunity for Zelensky is true?
If true, that would mean he coaxed tens of thousands to die and billions in economic revenue lost for something he himself is protected from. Then there is the turmoil of the Ukrainians themselves and world economies.
The supporting governments should know about this..
