It probably does. I've suspected that the Dominion settlement was a calculated pay off by Fox news in order to avoid discovery. If more discovery had been allowed it would have opened Pandora's box in terms of new frivolous lawsuits to keep harassing Fox with.

The left has been relentless going after Tucker, especially the past year, and this meant Fox got attacked by association. By getting rid of Tucker, Fox alleviated some of the pressure they were facing. Pretty cuck move by Fox, but I am also not surprised considering they have been controlled opposition for awhile.
