Full range of motion and pretty strict with no momentum, although it's not in a way where I can completely isolate my lats.

Can anyone beat my number? Who's down for some pullup challenge vid competition?

That’s really good. Best I could do was 21 good reps in one set.

With how many plates?

If that's with 2 plates or more it's very impressive

1 set of 12 for sure. I never really do pullups except for 1 set or so on occasion

I think you can do more than me, but it's not that impressive to be honest.

Nice. Easily better than 99.5% of the population.

Don't wanna be bragging, but you'll rarely ever see anyone do 5 sets of 15 reps with good range of motion unless it's some 120 lb twink. I weigh 183~185 lbs.

53 in 15 minutes. Most in a set was 12 though. I’m 6’3” 211lbs, not in great shape these days. I’ll be 40 in 3 months.
I **** around with pull-ups a bit. I’d like to do more but my job is physical so I kinda do go too crazy at times bc I don’t want to be tired at work.

I’m thankful for a physical job, sitting at a desk is the worst.

But only thing I really notice with age is the recovery times. My muscles/strength feel great (only limitation is not being as into lifting as I once was), my joints feel good, my test is good (naturally) and it’s all pretty good. The ONLY real drawback is with a physical job I now feel I hold back a bit on workouts on certain days bc I like coming home from work less tired.

Working way up slowly, at 224 BW with 50lbs weight belt, 4 reps

Not great but not terrible. I think my max reps is 10 strict and probably 12 less strict

Think you should still be able to keep up with youngsters until you are in your mid 40s. For instance, there have been plenty of MMA fighters who became the UFC champ in their late 30s to early 40s.

Hmmm...I don't know.

Probably too old for that.

Probably about the same.

I’ve been able to hit 30-40 in a single set at times

I remember one summer as a kid, I'd do pullups to failure every time the loading screen of N4S showed up.

Got really strong.

I really have muscle imbalance so I can do pullups but would rather just correct my posture before I start doing lots of them
