How many hours do you estimate you've spent in the gym?
Was it worth it?
Roughly 5 hrs a week for 18 years for me = 4,680 hours or 195 days. That's just weight training, and not the 5 hours/week playing bball which would double it.
Definitely felt worth it throughout my 20s, entering my late 30s, I'm becoming less convinced.

I'd say 6-8 hours a week roughly. For 6 years maybe. Yeah it's worth it

Stay with it because it's worth it.

I have the same years logged in, but have never been consistent, for one reason or another (vaginitis, projects, deployments, etc).

By freshman year at college I spent about
1.75 - 2 hours in the gym 6 days a week
2 days at the psu gym to do heavy dumb bells
4-5 days at planet fitness
But? I’d typically head in to the gym throw on my beats
Tan for 12 minutes
1 mile warm up on the treadmill
And then the rest of the time on weights
I spent almost 9 years at psu
About 8.5 years total
But towards the end of hs I was like 2-3 days per week didn’t actually become dedicated until freshman yr at psu
Haven’t lifted since I graduated because of no meds

I also have a lot of professional friends with high incomes and almost all of them don't work out, are fat, and look old.
When you stop exercising, you start aging.

Plot twist, dude is like 6 months older than me and he's been saying the same thing for 3 years.
