Yes. Truly religious people, who are closer to god, understand that there is not just one true religion, but there are multiple religions that can all be true at the same time.

Only low IQ people who aren't able to understand spiritual/metaphysical side of the world think their one religion is the only one that is right.

Truly religious people crucified Jesus Christ for teaching others to love their enemies and to turn the other cheek.

However, if your faith is real it should be able to withstand testing it with other religions.

"love their enemies and to turn the other cheek"

The context is that's the true standard of the law that nobody can keep.

Well if you take into consideration that Buddhism is derived from paganism/occultism (hinduism) - then no, no you can't be a christian a buddhist at the same time.

Buddhism is a religion of the serpent - Christianity is the religion of Jesus Christ who is God revealed in the flesh.

Christianity is the worship of our creator - buddhism is the worship of the self which is not weird at all considering that it is derived from pure idol worship.

yeah sure buddy, your magic book is the right one and every other is wrong. So tell me have you found the father yet, since the only way to him is through his son it would seem that you should have already seen god as you have it all figured out!

Who would have known that god would be so jealous that he would create only ONE pathway to know him, strange!

Your religion is worthless, a homeless bum who's never touched a bible can find god quicker than some cuck going to church every Sunday, and god does not have favorites or "one special book" that you need to find him. LOL at having such a child like idea of what god is.

The only reason a true Christian would study Buddhism is to learn enough about it to be able to pull others out of the fire who are wrapped up in it and bring them into the fold.

That's called modalism. The Book of Revelation is pretty clear that for all eternity the Father and the Son will be in Heaven as distinct persons.

There's like 8 of those apparent trinitarian heresies from what I've read (partialism, modalism, etc)...I was looking at this recently actually. Guessing you think modalism isn't it.

This.

I can immediately recognize my intellectual superiority over someone when they refuse to acknowledge anything else being a possibility other than what is written in their specific book. It is all in one way or another, pointing at the same universal thing

I'm not religious in the sense that I follow any particular religion. But I do believe in god and believe that religions aren't a goal, but a means to a goal. Some retards take religion for god itself, which is idolatry.

Religion is but a path to god, and there are many paths to god. Christianity, Islam, or eastern religions all provide wonderful insights about how to reach god, and what god actually is, and that is what I'm interested in.

Would be stupid of me to just look at one and disregard everything else. With that being side there is nothing wrong with being a good little christian or muslim and sticking with that, but it's just not for me.

Know whats going to blow your tiny little mind?

EVERY human on earth is also the "son of god" with the only thing separating all of us from Jesus is that Jesus was AWARE of this (spiritual awakening). The real purpose of religion is for every man to realize who he truly is, god.

Everyone has a soul, and that soul is a piece of god. Therefore " I and the father are one" is Jesus recognizing the soul within him IS the same as god. Jesus is god in the same sense that you or I am god.

Jesus wasn't the only person who reached self-realization/nirvana/awakening either btw.

There is ONE god, but each of us have a piece of god within us that we call the soul. The purpose of life is to recognize our soul and reflect it perfectly which allows us to go back to which we came (god). Jesus reached a self awakening that others can also be capable of reaching, but obviously it isn't easy or everyone would do it.

It takes more than just going to church every day and reading the Bible. It is a process that spans MULTIPLE lifetimes, possibly hundreds and thousands of lifetimes.

Brah you sound brain washed - there's no such thing as reincarnation and a soul is a creation of God.

You're also talking about things you don't understand.

OK, so there's God (Jesus) and gods (fallen angels/demonic forces).

WHen the false religions talk about 'self realization' or 'evolving' your consciousness and realizing that 'you are god', it's talking about an alchemical (occult) process of fusing YOUR consciousness with that of a demonic fallen angel 'god'.

Jesus did not realize he was God by fusing consciousness with Yahweh - he IS God, the creator of Heaven and earth - Yahweh revealed in the Flesh.

Hope this helps.

That's not saying they are the same person. You have to compare scripture with scripture. We are one with the Father through our relationship with His Son.

John 17:21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

This is explaining that the Father and the Son are of the same nature (John 10:28-39; John 14:8-11). We see the Father when we see the Son means we see the Son with the Father in unity of nature. Hebrews explains the message of John 14:9. "The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being" Heb 1:3

Both Heb 1:3 and John 14:9 are not speaking of a physical image.

The central theme of all religions is supposed to be to adapt moral logic (refine the moral instinct); which is based on the concept of sanctity. This coincides with human interactions (thought, feeling, behavior) that are true and pure; without unjust action—unjust enrichment, unjust deprivation, unjust privilege, unjust quartering. Respecting free will, well-being, personal space, free speech, fair chance.

All teaching beyond this, or conflicting this, are yellow and red flags.

John 20:28-29 and Thomas answered and said to him, my Lord and my God, Jesus said to him, Thomas, because he has seen me you have believed, blessed are those who have not seen in yet have believed
Act 9:4-6 then he fell to the ground and heard a voice saying, Saul Saul why are you persecuting me and he said who are you, Lord? Then Lord said, I am Jesus whom you are persecuting. It is hard for you to kick against the goads. So he trembling and astonished, said Lord, what do you want me to do then the Lord said to him arise, and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.
Revelations, 19:16 and he has on his robe, and on his thigh, a name, written king of kings and Lord of Lords

And to answer your question, we are sons through Jesus Christ. Jesus is the father, and we are sons through the father Jesus Christ we are one as he and his father are one every Christian living a true and righteous life is one. Now are many Christians living a righteous life I truly doubt it
