The status of having an American Express card?
I was listening to Coach Greg Adams podcast the other day and he mentioned that you get a huge bump in perceived status with women if they see you have an American Express credit card. A few other guys in the chat confirmed it was definitely a thing.
Can anyone confirm? I searched here and saw Lefticle made a post in 2020 that girls mire when using an Amex. I do not understand what the big deal is about an Amex vs any other card. I can understand if you have one of those heavy metal cards but it sounds like the status is just from having a card that says American Express on it but I'm not sure what the value in that is vs any other card.

I just got Amex Preferred because it gives 6% cash back on groceries up to 6k per year. I should have went for the American Express gold card.
I am at a point in my life where i dont care what the sloots mire and not mire i do **** for me and in this case i am trying to get some cash back lol.

a regular amex is no different than any other other. you're getting some cashback/points, and don't pay an annual fee. nothing special.

It's definitely not a sign that you're wealthy. But it's a good sign you make $100k+ and probably travel some. That's enjoying to impress most common sloots.

But they're probably not the best women. I was in the AMEX Centurion lounge yesterday in LAX, and it's always a bunch of low status girls with a bunch of tattoos in these lounges or random 6/10 fat career girls sitting around by themselves throwing eyes hardcore at the guys in there.
Basically, if you want to meet a 6/10 girl with little personality earns $150k+ and has a very high opinion of herself, go around flashing your AMEX card.

I pay them off every few days and get more than the annual fees worth from them. We spend around 150-200k in personal spend and 200-300k in business spend a year.
