Colorado teenager who allegedly shot a woman in the head with an AR-15 three years ago made his first court appearance on Friday since a judge ruled that he’d be tried as an adult, according to local news reports.

Remi Cordova, now 17, is facing a first-degree murder charge in connection with the fatal shooting of Pam Cabriales.

Cordova allegedly shot her up to 20 times on the night of February 20, 2021, while she was en route home from dinner. While driving, she accidentally hit the back of a car Cordova was in with her car, prompting him to exit the vehicle, local NBC affiliate KUSA reported.
