If you're a resident of NY state and into pisscoins, good luck finding proper channels to trade at an affordable rate.

I remember it like this years ago not being able to use central exchanges like Binance, Kraken, etc which houses most of the altcoints, so you'd have to go the decentralized route from the start with lovely exorbitant fees every step of the way.

NY came after every exchange that accepted its residents and now nobody wants us on their platform. (RIP KuCoin)

It took me way too long to get PEPE in my wallet. srs. The amount of fees I ate with Ethereum, going through Layer 1 to purchase (gas fees included+platform rate), bridging to Layer 2 (for sub $1 swap gas fees (high gas fees before transferring to L2)) then figuring out which of the three fking PEPEs is the real one cuz they all look the damn same.

how tf do I cut these fees down.

If it was a perfect world, I would, but then I prob wouldn't need to go that route.

There are other routes like using a dedicated VPN IP to exchanges that don't abide by the KYC law. I've heard stories of folks being locked out of withdrawing/accounts and having to provide identification though. Perhaps something I can check out...
