Is life depressing after college?

Does it get good or is it time to rot to a deathbed?

Spend your time working to live, no free time to enjoy life.

Welcome to life son.

Dunno I never went to college so I started working full time at 18. Life was still pretty enjoyable back then though. My minimum wage retail and landscaping jobs were 100x more enjoyable than my “professional” corporate office jobs (ded fkin srs).

Life probably sucks until you have kids. Then you have something greater to life for and work to support. I just wish I could retire now and enjoy my healthy years doing it.

It doesn’t have to be this way, but everyone chooses to cuck themselves.

If you leave college $250k in debt with a degree is women's studies life will probably suck nuts for a long time. My college life sucked but then it got awesome.

It shouldn't be, but it is.

Well, it honestly depends on your obligations. Some have to leave their house to work a job they despise while others work a job they hate from the comfort of their own pajamas

college was the best, nothing will ever compare...
my only worries were going to the gym, deciding what alcohol to buy for the next party, and which sloots were gonna show up to the party
wake up whenever you want, skip class to go to the gym, get back from the gym and everyones drinking and tanning on the roof at noon, get drunk nap and recover in time for the actual party at night
but I got a degree in a subject that was easy for me(mathematics/actuarial science), really didn't have to put a lot of time into it and was able to learn faster on my own

Nope, I'm having a waaaaaaaaaaaay better time now.

Anybody who says college was the best time of their life is a socially inept dumb fukk without the skills to make it in the real world.

nah, i was broke af in college, worked minimum wage, and still had to live with my parents.

it wasn't until after i graduated, got a big boy job, and could afford my own place that my life changed for the better.

Post college life rips boyo.

No more never ending anxiety of assignments on the horizon.
No more late night studying.
No more living in a 10ftX10ft room.

Get a job where work doesnt come home with you and you will feel a pressure fall off your shoulders. Getting girls becomes harder as they no longer live downstairs and are forced to sit next to you for 2hr classes.

Yes, realised this only in 2024. Life is misery without responsibility I guess

I wouldn’t say that.

I have accepted I will never have as much enjoyment as I did then. It was a great time, even the hard parts. The entire experience.

Of course the parties and the women.

But there was so much more for me. It was fulfilling.

But that doesn’t have to take away from the other experiences. It is all life.

If you develop good habits its decent. Basic chit like staying on top of finances, being healthy, maintaining relationships. If you are missing any of the above you're in for a brutal long road.

Its easy to fall off, its hard to stay on top

I did STEM and college was miserable

Insane amount of homework, exams, labs etc.

95% dudes and the other 5% of women were ugly

If you did a real major idk how it could have been THAT enjoyable

Adult life 10000x better

I'm 31 and there's almost nothing to look forward to aside from travelling. Feels like I've done/seen it all

I could go the family route but most women suck these days and I don't want kids

I'll put it like this. I still whack off to college girls I haven't seen in 6 years because I have met zero women since them to replace them with. It's like I'm sitting around and rewatching DVDs of The Hangover and Hunger Games for the millionth time because I can't get any new movies from this decade.

I've thought about prowling universities to get young sloots. Unfortunately the only one near me is a commuter type university.

Where else could you meet 21 - 24 yr olds?

Same. Just in the routine and see it as a video game to acquire money although at this point it's just numbers in accounts. Like points.

I don't really want to travel much though. I have a small house in SE Europe but it's such a chit show over there and it needs work and I can't trust any of those people.

Things are just in a steady decline it's exhausting.

Honestly life wouldn't be so bad if you didn't have to work so many days. I don't even look forward to weekends anymore because no matter if I rot or go out I know the grind is right around the corner.

We should be on 3 to 4 day work weeks right now. Or hell, give people every other Friday off.

I didn't go to college, but throughout my 20s had a pretty solid social network and music scene we all congregated at. Any night of the week there was a bar to hit and meet up with people, a band playing, girls to chat up, beers to drink and substances to take. Could go an entire summer going from one party to another, to a concert, to a weekend long music festival, and so on.

Miss those times. 30s have been way less social, especially after COVID. People got trained to be homebodies, even the ones without kids to raise. Should've found myself a high school sweetheart, put a baby in her, and started a family when I was younger.

that's probably the biggest reason i knew i could never work a job. get off on friday and that day is gone like a vapor. then you have saturday to do something if you've planned it out in advance. sunday the feeling of dread comes over you because it's time to start getting ready to start the whole chitty process over.
