How safe is it to eat 5 hard boiled eggs per day?

I’m 53 years old and trying to lose weight. I weighed 287 pounds on January 1st and today I’m 265 pounds. I recently started weight training six days a week:

Day 1: legs
Day 2: chest and lats
Day 3: Shoulders and arms

Day 4: repeat day 1
Day 5: repeat day 2
Day 6: repeat day 3

I’ve been eating 5 hard boiled eggs at lunch, and am wondering what the long term consequences of that might be. Do eggs only have good cholesterol and fats? Can it be bad for me to eat that many?

Good source of fat, and cholesterol in food has minimal effect on blood work; you're fine.
Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.

5/10/16: Finally back to lifting, light but improving.

Shells should be kept on. It's considered 'roughage' or 'grit' and it's great fiber. Just know that most listeria cases come from the actual shell so soak them in bleach first or other household chemicals.

Frittatas are great too, you can pre make it and just cut it into slices for lunch too for variety, add in veggies and some meat for a great and filling meal.

Keep in mind that everything the media says about diet and nutrition is 180 out of what is reality. srs

They have an agenda and that agenda is solely driven by money.

They always go on and on about how bad eggs are for you so do the opposite and eat as many as you want. you already know they are 100% healthy for you and full of nutrients.
