Galaxy 23 or iPhone 13?

Have a iPhone 11 works fine looks fine but the battery is starting to get a meh already replaced it once. I have no allegiance to iOS or Android don’t work so don’t need productivity apps etc…

But love the iCloud auto backup and the seamless transfer between iPhone and MacBook Air which I use to travel.

Then it comes down to which OS you like or which features/aesthetics you prefer. Honestly, both are kinda similar now except OS.

get the galaxy s23 if you want to do customizations on your phone, example i have a good amount of modded applications that doesn't require any root or operating system tinkering. just plain download and install the apk file.

get the iphone if all you gonna do is click app and use phone as it is.

Does anyone actually bother rooting their phone and other autistic stuff? I’m quite tech savvy but just don’t see the benefit of it

iphone sucks cuz then you gotta get iphone everythnig to download and tranfer stuff. everything costs money.

with androids you can just plug into computer and drag and drop everything you need. also its way more customizable. hell my andoird even came with its own ringtone maker and you could edit parts of songs to use as a ringtone and its was dope af unlike apple where you have to pay 1$ for even a ****ty ringtone.

Reading the reviews the 24 doesn’t seem like a huge leap at all and can get the 23 cheaper trading my 11 in also.

always good to overclock the CPU to get some extra frame rates in the full 4k gaming fps shooters. some phones come with water cooling now

btw i don't know about the iphone but the galaxy now has an option to limit your phone to 85% battery when you're charging. i have been using it and my battery is doing great

Android and iPhone are mostly similar but iPhone comes with a lot of nice features stock. It’s not just a status symbol imo

I went from an s21 to a 15 pro and mostly the experience is 1 to 1 but some things are more enjoyable about iPhone and some things are nicer with Android

The Samsung galaxy feels like **** plastic while the iPhone is made with titanium. The iOS UI feels better and smoother. The battery life is better. Being able to iMessage people without a poverty app is nice too. Apple products are overpriced but they are also well built and well constructed. They hold their value well. Apps are built for iPhone while things like Google pay often don’t get support from merchants. All the phone accessories are Apple first like cases and screen protectors. Apple chips are faster so they’re best in class. Apple also cares about privacy unlike Google which is selling pics of your penor to everyone from your mom to ISIS and then displaying viagra ads

Again, iPhone is overpriced but it’s also able to do certain things better

Typing on iPhone is kinda ass though. It always autocompletes with something retarded and when you backspace to erase one letter it deletes the entire word. Trying to select a place for your cursor is also annoying as ****

Oh yeah and the absolute best thing about iPhone is not having Google give me 50 ads about Mongolian basket weaving if I accidentally say something remotely related

Have used both android and iPhone, currently use an iPhone but considering going back

Apple does some chit that’s annoying. For example you can use google maps, but it won’t work “natively”, if your in your car with CarPlay and ask for directions it will always use Apple Maps. Apple had some dispute with google maps so they cripple other map apps. Traffic data on Apple Maps sucks

The only reason they supported USB-C is cause they were forced to

Apple is purposefully making PWAs not work so you have to use the App Store and then they get a cut of payments they otherwise wouldn’t get

Slow your phone down so you buy a new one and then when they are called out on it so they say it’s to protect your battery

The reason iMessage doesn’t work with android and vice verse is 100% apples fault, they want it to not work to keep people locked into iPhones

MacBook pricing is just lol, the base isn’t that overpriced, but pricing gets astronomical with just smaller upgrades in hardware. They get you in with an entry level laptop then just rape you with no lube when you need a more powerful laptop

They make a lot of their stuff not work if you don’t have a MacBook. I tried to reset my apple password and they wouldn’t do it from my laptop, I had to have a MacBook. No iMessage client on the web that I can use either

They’re actually a really abusive company to its users, but they do a good job of making it look like it’s for your benefit

S22+ here, but if he has an old 11 then he insn't interested in the *latest and greatest* newest phone.
With that being the case, based on the 2 that he said, the 15 or the 24 is too much tech when he mentions the 13 or 23.
the obvious selling point, is the options that he gave us and the obvious cost savings

Honestly top tier phones are overrated.

I use my phone mostly for ticktock and miscing and don’t need an expensive phone for that. The batteries go bad after a year.

Just get something in the $200-$500 range
