What's up with grown up adults into video games and weightlifting these days?
Isn't it supposed to be something teens and guys in their 20's usually do….after 30 it just feels downright childish….as if you are literally forcing yourself to feel younger then what you usually are…or is it just a cope for being an underachiever in real life?

Minus the weightlifting and you have Voidgays. 30, unemployed, living with parents and playing video games all day.

I'm having a hard time understanding why do you care?
What exactly should 35 yr old adults be doing in their spare time? What makes you qualified to say what adults should be doing?

Weightlifting - suggesting grown adults shouldn't lift is just silly

There are many other things to do in spare time, but yeah most of the spare time is better spent doing nothing…just thinking and resting maybe?

Video games and lifting aren't boring or tiring though. Videogames give you excitement. Lifting/Cardio gives you energy and releases endorphins making you feel good.

You’ve gotta do something besides drinking beer and wondering where it all went wrong .
Just got back into gaming ,and work out at home . Ideally as you get older , resistance training is more important yet to maintain bone density , muscles etc . I don’t want to be one of those old farts that needs a cane or walker .
As for gaming I’m playing COD 2007 and going through the campaigns again at hardest .
Fark I’m getting my ass handed to me , but I’m getting threw it eventually
A home gym is also about the hobby creating it . It’s gone through several upgrades over the years .
FYI all the yellow is changed to orange . Need updated pics once the new fridge wall is finished

When you come to think of it, almost all human behaviour and activity is not essentially any different from animal behaviour. The most advanced technologies and craftsmanship bring us, at best, up to the super-chimpanzee level. Actually, the gap between, say, Plato or Nietzsche and the average human is greater than the gap between that chimpanzee and the average human.

Lifting weights is vastly more important as you get older.
It should be odd to see young guys doing it when they dont really need to. old guys benefit from it as we lose muscle as we get older at a much faster rate.
As for video games, not sure, they are fun.

"To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."– Carlos Castaneda
