i miss the days of going for a killer gym sesh on friday afternoon on 3 scoops of jack3d and then coming home at 5am drunk or high on a saturday morning, knowing the misc would be pumpin because it was american day time

you'd refresh the 1st page and it'd be entirely new threads

you would go to festivals and meet up with fellow miscers and we would do lots of drugs and have fun times

anime thread was poppin', we'd talk about bangin eachothers sisters on the myanimelist forums and how one dude would go to SEA to bang trannies

This is why people get sucked into echo chambers. Everywhere else is too woke, censored, cancel-cultured, and most internet personas are too serious and self righteous. There's still some good sub reddits, Discord servers, and the misc where you can feel anonymous and free. But the older things like the misc have primarily an older audience, which makes sense. Older audiences have more serious and mature banter, life advice, and tend to discuss issues and responsibilities because well, there's more of them now. Doesn't help that politics and international affairs are of peak interest for everybody these days too IMO.
