Why do normal people wave presidential candidate flags?
Saw this driving down the street
As I was passing, I heard the old guy say," Looks like we got a liberal". Now it's gonna bug me for a little bit wondering why he said that.
Maybe they were paid to do this, but they look like civilians.

Well. You know 50% of people have below average intelligence.
Something like 95% of people think they have above average intelligence.
That leaves YOU the most important ph@60t in your life.
Given the circunstances it is easy to assume you are Right and they are all fooked in their heads.
Sharing my happy thoughts that make me happy.

We need to go back to the era where discussing politics and religion was frowned upon in public. My grandpa was the biggest Trump supporter on earth. He hung a portrait of the orange man on his door (ded fkin srs) but out in public you’d never know it. He didn’t even own a MAGA hat, the closest thing to a political symbol was his army vet hat and he sewed American flag pockets to all of his golf shirts.
I’ll be voting for Trump in November. I discuss political things on these boards but you’d NEVER see me waving a flag or putting a bumper sticker on my car. People get too infatuated with politics. Just having an opinion should be enough.

And "normal" is a stretch.
Anybody standing out by the street waving a flag for either side might have a screw loose. I'd give a little more leeway for someone campaigning for a local mayor, alderman, etc. Someone who could make a difference in their town.
But talking to someone like that usually reveals that they're a few sweet potatoes short of a meal prep nomsayin?

That’s tame boyo. Eastern Long Island has the craziness beat ten fold
Saw this effigy of Biden posted up on the corner of a 4 lane highway near me before the last presidential election. It was actually pretty hilarious, so I had to take a pic

They are not “normal”. Normal people don’t do stuff like that. Even a bumper sticker is pushing the limit to be considered normal. These are people desperate to belong to a tribe.

Imagine how emasculated you would feel standing on a street corner waving a Biden flag.
"To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."– Carlos Castaneda

Never really understood that myself. For both sides of the spectrum it applies, those on Trump's nuts and those on Biden's nuts. And that goes for any other president or presidential candidate past, present, or future. Like, they're not my blood. Not my family. Sure, I prefer one over another like most people, so I'll go and vote for that person. But people doing this chit, getting tattoos, creaming in their pants at the mere mention of the name, etc. Get the fuk outta here. Whoever the douchebag is who's president will be gone in 4 or 8 years. It's an office position, not your fuking parent.

LOL no one waves Biden flags to help hide their kid loving secrets. Not once has there been a boat parade or tons of cars with Biden flags.
