Calling all Misc Good Fathers!!!
Just celebrated my son's 1st birthday and I feel like I'm making it up as I go.
He watches everything I do and say so I try to be on my best behavior around him. I talk to him and try to interact with him whenever I can.
I put 1K a month in a investment account for him and he has some gold and crypto.
Am I missing something?
Seems like that's about all you do for the first couple of years until they start to develop interest?
I change diapers now and again but mostly my girl handles that and I don't really feed him because my girl makes his food and she has him on a specific schedule.
Maybe I can offer to feed him more?
Any non LGBT advice would be appreciated.

The first year to 1.5 years they're mainly in potato mode, and don't really do anything overly interesting of gratifying. I have a two year old, and it wasn't til she was approaching two, and starting to show a more nuanced personality, her own interests, a sense of humor, that I started to really bond with her and find ways to connect with her.
