One of the best games I ever played. Tsushima 2 was my 2nd most hyped release since buying my console.

Ghost of Tsushima is one of the best games I've played recently. Was completely immersed, even when I could see exactly where the plot was going and what the ending would be. Still worked for me.
Reminded me of all the good aspects of an open world game like the better Assassins Creeds games or Days Gone, but also gave me nostalgia for games like Dynasty 4 and Way of the Samurai.
If you wind up playing it, I suggest beating the DLC before the final mission. Once I played the final mission the story felt so naturally concluded I couldn't get into the DLC.

One of the best Sony exclusives of the last couple generations. Has a little too much redundant filler though.

It's okay, typical QTE heavy Sony affair.

One of the best looking games/worlds i have ever seen
Sadly i just couldn't get into it for that long
I am kinda autistic when it comes to these open world games and have to go to every marker but i am tired of them after playing so many over the years.. Witcher 3, Cyberpunk, Assassin Creed etc
I ditched Hogwarts Legacy after a few hours to

1. It's their first entry in a new IP and they managed to introduce so much cool new stuff in there while being a team of only 140 people.
2. Game has mild spiritual elements but still tries to keep the setting grounded in reality. Being in a realistic setting and fighting only other people there's not many crazy things you can put in the world, the real land in that era was mostly empty as well.

Doing all sides that pop up and nothing is feeling like a chore. Sure some things feel samey as you'd expect from open world but SIE games do open world so much better than Ubisoft, the plots are good enough and the rewards feel meaningful enough. I hear Rise of the Ronin is more similar to Ubisoft open world than SIE open world, so I am in absolutely no rush to finish GoT. Will probably end up my most played games of 2024.

Never did get the DLC to this game. Might have to get the PC version for the DLC at least.

My hands don't work that way. Furious up and down movements with the hand I've mastered from years of PC use though.

But yeah not saying I was jumping out of my chair for those mini games but they were decent enough and maybe more intuitive for a controller user.

Glad a bunch of y'all get to play this for the first time. I was blown away when I got it. The story was fairly predictable, but masterfully told. The emotional beats hit. The triumphant beats hit. The setting was one of the most beautiful I'd seen. The combat was fluid and, on higher difficulties, sufficiently challenging without turning enemies into katana sponges.
The way the environment gave you cues as to where a point of interest was without cluttering up your HUD was awesome. Tired of fukking around in the woods? Flick up on the TouchPad and let the wind guide you. Not to mention your fukking road dog horse.

Hoping there's a transmog feature in Ghost 2 that will let me keep the properties of one armor while wearing the one I think looks the coolest.

Only the helmet looked like ass but I put my Gosaku helmet on and dyed the entire armor black. Looks absolutely fuking demonic, esp with horse armor.
