You are very wise this has been my experience as well. as a good looking autistic dude, this has happened to me too many times.
Its a double-edged sword, you can be good looking and have women initiate with you but it still never feels right because its too easy and if she does this with you who else is she doing it with right? this is the reality of the situation, the man should always have to approach the woman and risk rejection. Its hard for me oftentimes to approach women that I like even when they give me obvious signs of interest when I can be damn autistic and expect her to throw herself at me because I dont like rejection. It's a learned behavior from never having to approach a woman in my life, they usually come to me and its been like that my whole life. its the 100% success rate route. I'm screwed up in that regard, I want women who like me to have the confidence to approach me but I also dont like it when they do it because it's too easy. Autism, I need to fix it

You need to be observational and not too direct.

Was in line at the post office the other day. One attractive female just ahead of me in line wearing jeans with fashionable tears, and three fat women behind me.
