Two ways i've seen to get rid of squatters.
1. everything in the house is yours. you cannot change the locks, or shut off utilities, but you can move everything out. Call police first to tell them you want someone there in case of trouble. you grab everyone you know or hire professional movers and pack the whole house into moving vans.
furniture, electronics, appliances. you own them. usually when you move them out the house sucks and the squatters just leave because they are not in the business of buying chit to live. they use your chit until eventually evicted. they go find some other home to squat in. they still may trash your house though but at least your stuff will be safe.
2. There is a men who will get rid of your squatters for a fee. you lease them your house, they move in. They become the worst houseguest in the world. Squatters can't do chit but leave because they don't have a real lease.
a variant of the man who moves in is you lease to a group of family/friends and they proceed to be a nightmare.
otherwise this squatter laws BS is just that BS.
if police just kicked them out and arrested them for breaking and entering it would all be over asap.

Can’t you just get them evicted? I was a property manager for a while and we just evicted those mofos. It usually took about a month, but once evicted they weren’t allowed to come back on the property at all

BRB rent AirBnB for 1 day.
BRB only need 1 cellphone bill sent to that house, or other bill.
BRB 30 days later show up and say "dis my house now!"
BRB cops can't do chit because "tenant issue, go to courts"
BRB eviction in courts takes months to years
BRB cannot evict squatters because of "tenant rights" crap.
BRB homeowner gets arrested for changing locks on their OWN HOME because squatters have a single bill that was sent to address.
BRB now we need to do vigilante justice to get rid of squatters doing this.

I don't know about everywhere but most places for someone to legally squat they have to have proof or residence for an amount of time first, and meet certain criteria. I've heard some liberal areas they can break into your house while you are at work and basically just live there and you have to deal with it.
Anyone like OP thinking this is somehow "sticking it to the man" it's really not, it's allowing deadbeats and the lowest most selfish people to cause problems for everyone else and it causes problems for the honest people renting.

most of these houses were abandoned by scumlords who have multiple properties and are ok with some being empty for months/years cuz they make so much profit from the others.
in my city (no squaters right) they are actually trying to change the laws because of so many abandoned houses becoming junkie/gang/prostitution/party houses and a lot of them evenutally get burned up but never fully demolished and the scumlrods never repair em so the other residents get pissed for having derelict buildings bringing down their property value + eyesore for the street and crime.
most of these houses were abandoned by scumlords who have multiple properties and are ok with some being empty for months/years cuz they make so much profit from the others.

Why not just enter your own house, wait for them to fall asleep, once asleep handcuff them, drag them outside, uncuff them, go inside and lock the door. Call police and say there's some rando trying to break in. Remove all evidence they were ever there. How would police know they were squatting, there would be no evidence.
