the war is a tragedy and pointless. ive seen a lot of the videos and its mainly very young and scared looking men who dont actually hate each other, all continuing to fight because neither zelensky nor putin wants to be first to admit the whole thing was a mistake/sunk cost fallacy.

its similar to ww1, after awhile no side wanted to give up since so many men had died.

zelensky needs to actually hit the front lines himself and fight and see how motivated he is to keep the war going….

whats even sadder is we all know the endstate here. in a few years they will simply reach a cease fire agreement, russia likely keeps some of the eastern terrority

they will both claim victory but in reality nothing much different than how the map looks today outside perhaps a few minor changes.

but they will fight on another 2-3 years and hundreds of thousands of more men will die because of the pride of zelensky/putin.
