I group Black Sabbath in with bands like Kiss: Average bands that had a shtick that propelled them to stardom.

I group Led Zeppelin in with bands like Rush, Chicago, and CCR. Bands that were just good at what they did. No schtick. Just great music.

I would probably say that I like led Zeppelin more but when it comes to actually listening to the music, i will almost always pick Sabbath.

Ive seen Black Sabbath and it was one of the best shows ever. And Iommi is better than Page. Dont care what anyone says. And he has fake fingertips.

Zeppelin are better musicians, there more music is more complex and has more variety. Sabbath are better song writers and more original and influential.

The original sabbath line up + Heaven and Hell where RJD replaced Ozzy, and eventually Bill Ward quit during that tour but the studio album was Dio/Geezer/Tony/Ward.
