How much total in various forms of government assitance do you get per month?

How much do you get per month total in various forms of welfare, social benefiits, GA, etc? Count every single handout you receive.

My healthcare is covered but I think that's pretty much the same for everybody.

Also used some thing when they fukked over my business during COVID but don't feel bad about that at all. Shouldn't have closed all that chit down, so I happily took advantage.

Assume we’re not taking into account income and sales tax payments, property taxes and excess superannuation contribution surcharges and Medicare levies I.e not a net figure


Assuming I manage to get my reportable income down to zero this coming year

Universal healthcare - tens of thousands
Medicare safety net - thousands
Childcare subsidy - low tens of thousands
Private health insurance rebate - thousands
Pharmaceutical benefits scheme - hundreds
Paid parental leave (government) - tens of thousands

Possibly a solar panel rebate

Zero. Never been on welfare in my life despite growing up poor. My single dad refused assistance, he said it was for women. We struggled a lot and even got our lights cut off a couple times but my dad always busted his ass working multiple jobs. I remember once bringing him a form to get free school lunches due to our household income and he refused to sign it, told me no handouts. So I’ll never accept them. I’ll live in a cardboard box under a bridge before I get welfare srs.

When I was unemployed I even found my own ways to make money. Unemployment is also damned near impossible to get in Texas, srs. They do it to discourage you into giving up. Kinda fukn evil if you ask me.
