Mark my words, that Ukraine war won't be over within the next 5 years, and by then, we'll be staring down the barrel of another 10+ year conflict.

Russia is clearly prepared and satisfied enough with this being a long, drawn out process. The ONLY thing that MIGHT end it sooner is if Trump got into office and demanded a peace deal be reached (including demanding Zelensky legitimately negotiate for peace, not just Russia/Putin), but even then I'm skeptical. All bets are off if "The Big Guy" wins again, but we're probably screwed either way.
