Should I go out alone on weekends?

Not necessarily to try meet women but to improve social skills.

$85k salary

Yes, do it. I did the same thing in between 2021 and 2022. I made a lot of acquaintances and had some fun experiences, got rejected a lot but also learned quite a bit. Dive bars worked best for me but YMMV.
