what age can you 'properly' enjoy playing impact sports until?

by properly, I mean that until recovery, injury etc doesn't start to outweigh the fun of it

by impact too, I don't mean boxing/fighting, I mean stuff where you run and create 'hard' impact on the body (basketball, football/soccer)

i know there probably won't be a 1 size fits all answer, but in general, 35?
