this show is like 9.5 on imdb and often called the best show ever

do people have no idea what good writing is anymore???

the show's premise is great, but the writing is crap. really, some high school chemistry teacher is the only person in the world who can cook meth? he gets away with the most ridiculous chit, like fukking with crime lords and the Mexican cartel etc because his cooking is so supreme, yet no explanation is given as to why…? they have their own professional chemists, why is some high school teacher just automatically a superior cook? everything just seems like lazy and convenient writing…

Walter starts out like a good antihero but becomes so unlikeable throughout the show, and there's no other characters to root for: everyone's a piece of chit, like Hank, Skyler is annoying af, and Jesse is too passive to be the "hero" of the story. without any characters you actually care about, it becomes boring and pointless to watch.

the start of season 1 is great because the premise is good, and second half of season 5 has some specular writing, they wrapped it up really well - but hour after hour everything in between is boring, sloppy, and just completely mediocre. LMAO at people who watch this and say it's goated. hive mentality at its finest…
