I genuinely feel worse by doing cardio (srs)
Figured I should improve my cardiovascular system so I've been doing CT5K after every lifting session, so 3x a week.
After the 'runners high' wears off which is typically within 15 minutes of finishing the session, I feel worse off for it.
Brb appetite skyrockets so any calories burnt is null and void because I end up eating more to compensate
Brb sweaty af so extra laundry and showering
Brb feet and legs ache
Brb progress is much slower than lifting gains, yet the work is much harder. Higher effort for less reward
All that just to in theory improve my heart health and I can move around a bit more without getting out of breath. Big deal.
Tempted to quit and just stick to lifting
